Editor's Take
SME Advocacy
The level of anticipation in society remains high. And while the excitement and hustle of the election campaigns are over, many of us, especially small and medium-scale entrepreneurs and SME advocates, feel much remains to be done.
With this in mind, we reiterate the pro-SME policy of this website and place ourselves squarely behind the SME Advocacy campaign led by Planters Development Bank.
As we mark the sixth year of the SME Advocacy campaign, we take opportunity to re-dedicate our efforts to the following aims:
* To SHARE the spirit of entrepreneurship among Filipinos and honor SMEs who are the backbone of the Philippine economy;
* To MOVE Filipinos to support world-class best business practices and positive basic values; and
* To EMPOWER by raising awareness of the rewards of entrepreneurship and by mobilizing entrepreneurs to realize their fullest potential in order to shape a progressive and prosperous future for the country.
As SME-oriented development information technology advocates and providers, we share a keen interest in seeing the growth of an articulate and vibrant SME Community in the Philippines.
Filipinos have displayed the capacity to surmount great odds. And the Filipino SMEs have shown how ordinary men and women are working their way up by dint of honest work and the strength of their dreams.
