Three Ls of Day-to-Day Business

In business, most entrepreneurs get to be occupied with too many things especially in working towards creating demand or interest in his products or services. What is paramount is the bottom line—anything that has to do with bringing in the income is always top priority in the list.

In going about one's day-to-day business, setting priorities is always the key to having a good focus.

There is this line that says, "Great vision occurs when your eyes focus your vision precisely on the retina "goal line."

It means setting your eyes on your goal and not getting distracted whatsoever. While distractions, are unavoidable they can be managed. Once distracted, one must be able to shift and head back to focus.

Here are three ways to remain in focus in your day-to-day business:

Real change is only possible when focus is maintained.

Let go.

Humans are an intelligent species, but we have our limitations. Computers crash, the same can be said of people. When you find yourself in a situation like this, I must say—learn to let go. Though we are blessed with five senses—there are still things that cannot be done altogether. You need to set your priorities. Trimming down from the not-so vital to the vital ones would make a good push in achieving your goals.

Live in the Moment.

Scriptures said, "Let tomorrow worry itself." If you are doing something, do not easily be distracted with stuff that would not help achieve your goals.

Learn to set aside insignificant details. Rather, zero-in the stuff you REALLY NEED without carrying or worrying 'what might-ifs'.

When you start to entertain such, you may not know—you are already falling in the trap of getting away from your focus.

And Let God.

It maybe funny for business people to think of incorporating God in running your business, but actually the TRUTH is—it isn't.

A simple prayer each day is indispensable. Asking for His guidance is as handy as a mobile phone because it's your direct line to Him.

Of course, your effort is also needed. Align yourself in what is acceptable to human ethics and moral standards; then the 'force' above will give it back to you more than you can imagine.

The three Ls are just simple, but effective guideposts in hitting the RIGHT MARK.
